Update on Robbie Fruean’s arm injury
Robbie Fruean has had surgery today to insert a plate in his arm. He fractured his right arm in the Chiefs vs Crusaders game on Saturday night. The timeframe for recovery from this type of injury is usually around 4 – 5 months.
Crusaders Head Coach Todd Blackadder said the entire team was feeling for Robbie and sending him their best wishes for a speedy recovery. “We know that Robbie wanted to make this a great season so this is hugely disappointing for him. We know that he will continue to contribute to the team while he is on the road to recovery and we hope that he is able to make a full recovery before the season is over.”
