Vodacom Blue Bulls fitness report
The Vodacom Blue Bulls will be without Jean Cook (broken thumb), Frik Kirsten (ankle) and most probably Callie Visagie for Saturday’s Absa Currie Cup match against the MTN Golden Lions.
Cook will be out of action for six weeks and Kirsten for two, while Visagie will undergo a scan to determine the extent of the injury he picked up in the win over Griquas on Friday.
Team doctor Org Strauss also expressed caution on the availability of Akona Ndungane, who is recovering from a hamstring strain and a call on his participation in the Loftus clash will be made on Wednesday.
Tony Jantjies (back), Jono Ross (contusion shoulder), Rudy Paige (shoulder), Waylon Murray (neck) and Francois Venter (mouth) will only train on Tuesday, Strauss said, but all should be available to play.
Vodacom Blou Bulle fiksheidsverslag
