Vodacom Blue Bulls Under-19 to take on DHL WP
The Vodacom Blue Bulls Under-19 team will need a determined effort in the second round of the SA Rugby Provincial Under-19 Championship to improve their log position and playoff prospects, but have a tough fixture on Saturday, facing DHL Western Province in Cape Town.
The Pretoria side are in fourth position on the log with 16 points after six matches, with WP (29), Golden Lions (27) and Free State (20) in the top three.
The Blue Bulls suffered a close defeat to the Cape side when they clashed in the first round and will be determined to improve on that showing.
WP though, have won all six matches they have played and the expected wet weather conditions in Cape Town is another hurdle to overcome for the Pretoria side, who enjoyed a bye last weekend.
The team is Christian Strydom, Zandre Kruger, Jerome Bossr, Wian van Niekerk, Lee-Irwin Andries, Xander Kruger, Richman Gora, Ewart Potgieter, Hanru Sirgel, JC Pretorius, William Nel, Ruan Nortje, Mornay Smith, Werner Fourie, Luke Fortuin. Replacements: Matthew Wessels, Dewald Maritz, Andre van der Merwe, KP Kruger, Khwezi Mafu, Ginter Smuts, Theo Boshoff, Chad Plato.
