Wartburg Kirchdorf School Sports Festival 2013
On Saturday, 9 March 2013 from 8:30 – 16:30 we are hosting 27 schools and over 1 000 young men and women from all over KZN, who will descend on the WKS Sports fields to play a series of short matches against each other. The object of this festival is to provide small to medium schools with an opportunity to engage in pre-season “friendly” matches against schools they do not normally play against. The emphasis is on sporting, friendly competition and camaraderie — there are no prizes, no trophies and that equals a lot of fun!
Schools playing include: Wartburg Kirchdorf, Maritzburg College 1st, Thomas More, Kokstad, Westville 1st and 2nd , Weston, Heritage Academy, Wembley, Linpark, Pongola, Kingsway, Scottburgh, Carter, Howick, Durban Academy, Alex, Ixopo, New Forest, Grosvenor, Werda, St Henry’s, Ladysmith, Estcourt, King Edward, Crawford College LaLucia, Domino Servite and Kloof.
There will be food and refreshments on sale so come along and support this amazing event.
We would be delighted to see you there.
