WP, Border do battle in Girls U16 final match
Western Province and Border will meet in the final match of the SARU Girls U16 Week on Friday after finishing the second round of matches on Wednesday as two of four only unbeaten teams.
The other unbeaten sides, Border CD and the Leopards, will meet the Limpopo Blue Bulls and SWD respectively at CJ Langenhoven Gymnasium in Oudtshoorn.
Western Province’s appearance in the closing match will mark the union’s third in as many Youth Week tournaments after they secured places in the main match-ups in the Learners with Special Educational Needs (LSEN) Week at HTS Drostdy in Worcester and the U13 Coca-Cola Craven Week at Hoërskool Rob Ferreira in White River respectively.
In the other exciting clashes in Oudtshoorn on Friday, Eastern Province will meet Boland and the Pumas will line up against the Free State.
Hosts KwaZulu-Natal, meanwhile, will go up against the Blue Bulls.
