Zebre make two changes for Benetton Rugby clash
There is a lot of expectation in Parma for tomorrow’s challenge when the Rugby’s Citadel will host the most awaited event by all Italian North-West rugby lovers: the Italian derby of the Guinness PRO14.
After the first round was won by Benetton in Treviso last Saturday, Zebre will look for redemption tomorrow at 3 pm when the Lanfranchi Stadium will host the second of three seasonal encounters.
Many Italian internationals will be on the pitch facing each other as opponents just 5 weeks to the start of the 2018 Six Nations.
There are many events implemented by the Parma based club to embellish a day to be experienced. The rugby will start at 10.30 am with the first Zebre Rugby Club-Erreà tournament dedicated to the Under 14 players.
12 teams are ready to challenge each other on the synthetic pitches at the sport centre of Parma from 5 regional committees, for a real sporting event that will have its peak at 1.15 pm with the final.
Other elements of the day will be solidarity, fun and good food, all essential ingredients to the Rugby Citadel when Zebre are playing.
Zebre coaching staff opted for two changes in the starting line-up that tomorrow will challenge the Treviso one in the twelfth official challenge between the two teams.
All of the changes are in the forward unit that will also miss the flanker Meyer. The South African was suspended yesterday for one week by the disciplinary committee of the Guinness PRO14 after the red card shown seven days ago at the Stadio Monigo. In particular, at the forefront, the news are represented by the Argentine prop Eduardo Bello, who will start for the first time in the Italian derby. In the back rowers instead, on the flanks of Giammarioli – one of the best of the last round according to the official statistics of the tournament as well as defeated defenders and balls taken – will play Maxime Mandà with Derick Minnie.
