Zebre Rugby Club team to face Toyota Cheetahs
After the conclusion of the first two rounds of the EPCR Challenge Cup and the first training camp of the Italian national team held in Parma, Zebre had their first training session back to prepare for Round 7 of the Guinness PRO14.
Head coach Michael Bradley has been able to test the tactical solutions that he will use tomorrow, when Castello and his teammates host the Cheetahs in Parma.
It will be the first time that the ducal city will have the honor of hosting an official challenge between two teams of two different hemispheres, an event made possible by the expansion of the Guinness PRO14 last summer.
The opponents of Zebre will be the Bloemfontein based franchise who previously took part in Super Rugby.
In the first ever Guinness PRO14 game at the Toyota Stadium, the Cheetahs overcame Zebre 54-39, with Zebre taking the bonus point with five tries scored.
There will be five changes in the starting line-up of Zebre, compared to the defeat at the Lanfranchi against Pau in the European Cup EPCR Challenge Cup.
Three in the pack with a totally brand new second row unit as well as Panico in the number 1 jersey.
In the backs, however, the two Padua born boys Bellini and Minozzi re-gain selection after recovering from injury.
